Panel Discussion "The Vectors of Russia's Macroeconomic Policy"

On November 22, 2016, the Valdai Club will hold a panel discussion titled "The Vectors of Russia's Macroeconomic Policy".

The participants will discuss current macroeconomic issues, main drivers and risks for the Russian financial markets, as well as the prospects and directions of Russia's economic policy optimization in the coming years.

Particular attention will be paid to budgetary problems, including the Russian budget for the next year and possible changes in Russia's fiscal policy of in the medium term.

Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Finance Minister of the Russian Federation;

Roland Nash, Senior Partner and Chief Investment Strategist of Verno Capital.

Moderator:

Yaroslav Lissovolik, Chief economist of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB).

The discussion presumes participation of key speakers and invited experts in the audience. The free exchange of views between representatives of major investment companies, the diplomatic corps, Russian ministries and departments, as well as real sector of economy, aims to identify main weak points in the Russian economic agenda and ways to overcome them.
