On April 12, at 18:00, the Valdai Club will conduct a meeting with Syrian Parliament Chairwoman Hadiya Abbas. The meeting will take place under the auspices of an expert discussion titled “Syria: Results of the Fight Against Terrorism and Prospects of Political Settlement.”
Syria entered a new stage, for the first time, there is a chance to end the years long civil war. The decisive role was played by Russia’s participation in anti-terrorist military operations, which created the opportunity for political settlement.
The diplomatic process, however, is strenuous, and national reconciliation remains a vital yet elusive goal.
How does Damascus see this process and what will come next? Syrian Parliament Chairwoman Hadiya Abbas will discuss this at the Valdai Club.
