Valdai Paper #48: Russian Islam and the Situation in the Middle East

The 48th issue of the Valdai Papers is devoted to Russian Islam in the context of the situation in the Middle East. 

The author analyzes the trends that characterize the development of the Islamic community in Russia today, the impact of the spread of radical Islam in the Middle East on the Russian Islam and shares his views on the ways of protecting Russian regions from the penetration of radicals, as well as on what the Russian Muslim community can set against radicals.
