On July 25-27, 2018, the 10th BRICS Summit will be held in Johannesburg. Over the past years, BRICS has not only managed to strengthen and expand connections between its member states, but also to transform itself into a new center of political and economic influence. Initiatives, implemented under the BRICS auspices, such as the creation of the New Development Bank, gradual transition to trade in national currencies, shaping a new financial order, are all aimed at enhancing multipolarity and overcoming the Western domination in global economy and policy.

To which extent are the BRICS countries ready to face these changes in the global economic environment, which is related to the actions of the leading western countries, first of all, the US. How noticeable is the contribution of the BRICS countries to shaping the global economic and financial agenda? What decisions can be made at the upcoming summit? These and other questions will be addressed by the discussion participants.
