The Talent and Success Educational Foundation was established on December 24, 2014 by prominent Russian scientists, sports and art celebrities with the support and coordination of the relevant cabinet ministries of the Russian Federation.
Russian President Vladimir Putin became Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation. On his initiative, in 2015 the Foundation opened the Sirius Educational Centre at the Olympic infrastructure facilities.
The purpose of the Sirius Educational Centre is the early identification, education and professional support of children who have shown outstanding abilities in the field of arts, sports, natural sciences and technical creativity.
Today Sirius is not only an educational centre, but also a new technological and infrastructural environment that has changed the entirety of Olympic Park. On the territory of the Imereti Lowlands an industrial city of the future is being created, including the campus of the Sirius Educational Centre, the Sirius Science and Technology University, the Science Club, the School building, the Art building, the Sport building, the Sirius Park of science and arts, Small ice hockey arena, Training ice hockey arena, etc.
