With the arrival of the Joseph Biden administration, the United States is redefining its policy priorities. It is not yet clear how America's relationship with China and Russia will develop. Experts have expressed different opinions about the confrontation between the United States and China. However, it is obvious that a strategic consensus between Republicans and Democrats that China must be contained, which means that the essence of US policy will not change significantly under Biden.

In his keynote speech on foreign policy, Biden announced his intention to further increase sanctions pressure on Russia. In addition to the sanctions regime, for Russia, one of the key topics in one way or another is likely to be environmental protection. For China, trade and technology may be the main topics. Both Moscow and Beijing have yet to explore the risks and opportunities that the Biden presidency will bring in the coming years.

How will Russia react to a possible tightening of environmental standards by the United States? Is the Russian economy able to withstand further sanctions? What will be the new paradigm of economic relations between the United States and China? What are its possible consequences for Russia? The conference participants will answer these and other questions.
