Even in these crisis times we can talk frankly. As the Valdai Club meeting has shown, there are a lot of disagreements and opinions on the same points, be it trade or Ukraine agenda, international law or civil society and human rights.
I hope that the politicians and leaders will evaluate more sensibly and broadly our disagreements and build a new base, more solid and not illusory. They should agree that we depend on each other as we have the largest economies. Foreign trade, as well as international relations are impossible without EU-Russian cooperation.
