The current US policy towards Russia is not coherent, Angela Stent, Director of the Center for Eurasian, Russian and East European Studies, Georgetown University, says. She suggests that in fact, the US has two policies towards Russia: that are the policy of President Donald Trump, who wants to continue the dialog, and the US Congress, the position of which is tougher. One of the key questions now is arms control: according to the expert, negotiations on the subject can be continued, but it is possible that in 2020-2021 nothing at all will regulate the nuclear arsenals of the countries.
