Abdallah Al-Dardari, Deputy Executive Secretary of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia, tells about main achievements, which this UN structure has achieved since its foundation. He describes the general public goods system which is being built. There stresses the importance of region’s self-determination in the world for effective cooperation with other countries, including Russia. Following Abdallah Al-Dardari, the region has achieved certain results in the political sphere which can not be lost. It is important to move forward to the social-economic integration eliminating the roots of the “arab spring” which led the region to nowadays state. In any case, the old status-quo is finished.
