On November 17, the Valdai Discussion Club and the Argentine Council on Foreign Relations (CARI) held a joint discussion, titled “Stability and Security in the Western and Eastern Hemispheres: Views from Russia and Argentina.” Andrzej Habarta, Senior Research Fellow at MGIMO, Editor-in-Chief of the “Cuadernos Iberoamericanos” Journal; Ricardo Ernesto Lagorio, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Argentine Republic to the Russian Federation (2017–2020), Advisory Member of the Argentinean Council of Foreign Relations (CARI); Nikolai Silaev, Senior Research Fellow, Center for Studies of the Caucasus, MGIMO University; Lila Roldán Vázquez, Director of the Contemporary Eurasian Affairs Group, Advisory Member, CARI; Sebastian Villero, CARI Consultant, Lecturer at the University of Buenos Aires and at the Center for the Macroeconomic Study of Argentina (UCEMA) took part in the discussion. The event was moderated by Andrey Sushentsov, Programme Director of the Valdai Club.
