On May 17–18, Nizhny Novgorod hosted the 2nd Central Asian Conference of the Valdai Discussion Club. This year’s theme was “Russia – Central Asia: Cooperation and Development Amid Instability”. The final session was broadcasted live on our site on May 18. During the final session an open discussion on topical issues of the region was held, moderated by Timofei Bordachev, Programme Director of the Valdai Discussion Club.
