On July 18, the Valdai Club hosted a discussion on the topic “The Migration Crisis of Our Time: From A to Z”. The world is experiencing endless conflicts, which are constantly escalating in different parts of the world. Geopolitical and power confrontations leave humanitarian consequences in the shadows, including much of what is related to the migration crisis.
How can the migration crisis be used for the benefit of recipient countries? What factors can contribute to improving conditions for migrants and reducing migration pressure in the future? What is the role of international associations, particularly BRICS, in addressing the negative consequences of forced migration? The participants answered these and other questions.
