The Asia and Eurasia programme aims to study the strategic and regional parameters of the development of the geopolitical space centred around Russia as well as contemporary Asia and Russian politics in relations with the leading powers and international associations of this region. The programme continues to develop scientific partnerships and research areas that have become flagship in the work of the club over the past few years, creates new formats for expert interaction with leading researchers and research centres in Asia and Eurasia. 

Particular attention within the programme is paid to issues of Russian policy in the Asia-Pacific, strengthening Sino-Russian relations, cooperation between Russia and neighbouring countries in Eurasia, development of integration associations and bilateral partnerships, strengthening regional cooperation in the field of international trade, technology platforms, transport and logistics, search for joint responses to global and regional challenges.

This programme continues the Global Democracy and International Governance Programme.
