Andrey Krutskikh, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cooperation on Information Security, discusses how the international community can rally to combat the threats to security in the cyber sphere.
According to Krutskikh, the US and Russia bear a special responsibility for joining together these efforts. Also, he talks about the reasons behind the failure of the US-Russian cybersecurity consultations in Geneva in March, 2018. Krutskikh says that the two sides were close to signing an agreement, which was unacceptable for parts of the US political establishment.
