Humanity has been waging wars for centuries, but the forms of warfare and the nature of war are constantly changing. They have been influenced by ethno-political aspects and the development of military technology. Today, we are witnessing the most significant revolution in warfare since the world wars of the 20th century: war is no longer a “duel” between two or more countries waged for political purposes.
