Valdai Discussion Club and Yemen International Affair's Center Sign a Cooperation Agreement

On December 19, 2019, the Valdai Discussion Club and the Yemen International Affair's Center signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed by Andrey Bystritskiy, Chairman of the Board of the Foundation for Development and Support of the Valdai Discussion Club and Ahmed Salem Al-Wahishi, Director of the Yemeni Center. 

In particular, the parties expressed their desire to help strengthen ties between the intellectual elites of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Yemen, conducting various joint events: meetings with experts, forums, conferences, discussion panels etc. 

The goal of the joint projects is to create conditions for an effective dialogue between the scientific and expert communities, as well as public organizations of the two countries. 

The Yemen International Affair's Center was founded in 2007. Most of the center’s publications and studies are devoted to the countries of the Arab world, interaction in the Middle East, and the influence of external forces on the events in the region.
