On December 4, Andrey Bystritskiy, Chairman of the Board of the Foundation for Development and Support of the Valdai Discussion Club, is to take part in the 2020 DMZ International Forum on the Peace Economy, organized by the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) and the National Research Council for Economics, Humanities, and Social Sciences (NRC).
This year’s Forum will be held in a mixed (offline and online) format. The speakers will address the issues of resolving the state of division on the Korean Peninsula, establishment of permanent peace and a virtuous circle with the economy based on this peace. Scholars and experts in the areas of global peace, security and economy will engage in focused discussions on the issues to explore solutions toward the establishment of peace and prosperity on the Peninsula.
