Sung-Hoon Jeh

Sung-Hoon Jeh graduated from the Department of Russian Studies and received his Master’s degree in Political Science at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS). He received a Ph.D. in Political Science at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU).

He was head of the Russia & Eurasia Team at the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) and an expert member of the Presidential Committee on Northern Economic Cooperation of the Republic of Korea. Currently, he is a professor and head of the Department of Russian Studies at HUFS, and a policy adviser to the Ministry of Unification of the Republic of Korea. He also serves as the editor-in-chief of the academic journal “World and Eurasia”. His research interests are geopolitics, Russian foreign policy, and international relations in Eurasia.
