Maj Gen (Dr) Pawan Anand, a scholar-soldier who served for 36 years in the Indian Army, has been in several military operations. He has operated with several Russian equipments in the Army, done international procurements and been a member of the IRIGC-TEC. He is a qualified Mechanical Engineer, Double Masters in Strategic Studies and Management, and a PhD. He has several publications to his credit. He is currently a Distinguished Fellow with the USI of India, and a Mentor at the National Defence College.
