North-South International Transport Corridor (VIDEOGRAPHICS)

The North-South international transport corridor combines railways, roads and sea routes. The total length of the transport corridor is more than 7 thousand kilometers. The agreement on this international transport corridor was signed by Russia, India and Iran in 2000, ratified in 2002. In addition to Russia, India and Iran, the project involves Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, as well as Turkey, Syria and Oman.
