On July 23, an online discussion titled “Strategic Economic Interaction Between China and Russia in the Post-Pandemic Era” took place within the framework of cooperation between the Valdai Discussion Club and the Center for Sino-Russian Strategic Cooperation of the CITIC Foundation for the Study of Reforms and Development in China.
What is the potential for interaction between Chinese and Russian development institutions in overcoming the crisis and in reconstructive dynamics after the crisis? What are the possible areas of cooperation between Russia and China within the framework of SCO and BRICS? How promising is the BRICS+ interaction mechanism? Are there opportunities to strengthen investment cooperation between Russia and China in the context of the EAEU and China’s Belt and Road initiative? These and other issues were discussed by Russian and Chinese experts.
