Dear readers!
The Russian Business Week 2020, which was supposed to take place in Moscow from March 16 to 19, is postponed due to the coronavirus. To receive timely information about our events, stay tuned for updates in the "Announcements" section.

On March 18, at 16:00, as part of the RSPP Russian Business Week-2020, the Valdai Discussion Club will hold a special session, titled “National projects as a platform for investment cooperation between the Russian Federation and foreign partners.”

The implementation of national projects, which has necessitated over 25 trillion rubles in financing, is becoming a key factor in accelerating Russia’s economic growth. In addition to a platform for developing human capital and expanding transport infrastructure, national projects can become a tool to increase competitiveness by attracting foreign investment and highly qualified specialists. With their effective implementation, large-scale national projects will serve to optimise the positioning of the Russian economy on the world stage in the face of increased competition for capital flows, technology and human resources.

The interaction between the private and public sectors can be important in this process, in the framework of public-private partnerships, as well as cooperation between industrial enterprises and the banking sector.

How can Russia attract foreign investors in the implementation of its national projects? What foreign experience could Russia utilise in the modernisation of its economic development? What are the prospects for the participation of representatives of foreign business associations in national projects? The participants in the discussion will answer these and other questions.
