Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Andrei Rudenko said that the conversation between Presidents of the Russian Federation and Ukraine at the Normandy Summit in Paris was sometimes held in raised voices because of the desire of the Ukrainian side to amend the Minsk agreements. The Russian diplomat said this during a speech at the Valdai club venue.
“For a while, there were even ideas to seriously revise that document. ... Nevertheless, the firmness of our leader prevented all this,” Rudenko praised Putin’s merits at the Normandy summit.
