The 15th Valdai paper “A Strong State: Theory and Practice in the 21st Century” arises the problem of defining what state in future can become really strong and effective.
The author shares his opinion on the influence of events occurring in the world over the last years on state viability and provides his view on possible types of states and its’ tasks including Russia as well as on criteria of a strong state in the 21st century.
The author of the paper is Andrei Tsygankov, Professor of the Departments of Political Science and International Relations at San-Francisco University.
