In the past few decades, cyber threats have become an increasingly important aspect of national and international security.  Nowhere is this threat more acute than in the safe and secure command and control of nuclear forces and in the management of strategic nuclear balance. The new challenges presented to nuclear weapons and thinking by the emerging cyber context are myriad and diverse, and it is essential that we begin to rethink and reassess the dangers posed to the ultimate weapon by different types of hackers today.
