Vitaly Naumkin, Academic Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences, discusses the visiting session of the Valdai Discussion Club in Yerevan, Armenia. According to Naumkin, the session will allow Russian and Armenian experts to discuss all of the unexpected and unpredictable events taking place not only in Europe and the United States, but also the Middle East.
Naumkin added that the meeting in Yerevan will help define general features of a common view of Russian and Armenian analysts and experts in conditions of growing uncertainty. Naumkin also noted that Eurasian integration will be discussed, and noted the importance of this integration as a creation of a new power center in a changing world, in which processes relating to integration are themselves changing as well.
