Mohan, Kumar, Chairman, Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), argues that the world we live in is already multipolar, but it is characterized by disorder and chaos rather than stability. He also discusses the current state of the World Trade Organization, which is critical due to a number of factors like the proliferation of free trade agreements. In the near future, the organization is going to change, still being necessary. “Without a strong WTO, the smaller countries will have problems”, he believes.
