On March 21, 2019, the Foundation for Development and Support of the Valdai Discussion Club and Consejo Argentino para las Relaciones Internacionales (CARI) signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed by Andrey Bystritskiy, Chairman of the Board of the Foundation for Development and Support of the Valdai Discussion Club in the presence of Ricardo Lagorio, Ambassador of Argentina to Russia.
The parties plan to develop socially significant projects that will strengthen the scientific and socio-cultural ties between Russia and the countries of Latin America. This can be facilitated through meetings with experts, forums, conferences, researches and publications, visits and exchanges between academics and other intellectual luminaries, the establishment of groups of experts, and so on.
The exchange of information on current trends in international relations, global politics, economics, security, energy, sociology, communications and other fields will help establish an effective dialogue between the scientific and expert communities of the two countries.
