Valdai Club Discusses Russian-American Cooperation on the Iranian Nuclear Deal

On April 28, 2016, the Valdai Discussion Club will present a Valdai Paper, written by Richard Weitz, Senior Fellow and Director of the Center for Political-Military Analysis of Hudson Institute (USA), and Andrey Baklitskiy, director of "Russia and nuclear non-proliferation program, PIR Center, entitled "The Iranian Deal: Opportunities and Obstacles for Russian-US Cooperation".

International agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue, signed in summer of 2015, was a turning point in efforts to strengthen the nuclear non-proliferation regime. However, approaches to its implementation are still the subject of controversy between the parties. Experts will discuss the implementation of the Agreement and opportunities for the US-Russian cooperation on the Iranian nuclear issue.
