On February 20, at 11:30, the Valdai Club Conference Hall will host a discussion on this year’s Munich Security Conference (to be held on February 17-19), featuring impressions from attendees Fyodor Lukyanov, Valdai Discussion Club Research Director and Chairman of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy, and Alexander Dynkin, Director of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations, Russian Academy of Sciences.

In 2017, the Munich Security Conference is of special interest. First, significant tectonic shifts in international politics have taken place since last year’s forum. Second, it will become the scene of the new US administration’s international debut. Munich is always a barometer of international politics, especially, in the Euro-Atlantic world. What does it indicate this time?
