The New Reality in Russian-Chinese Relations
The Russian prime minister’s visit to China to attend the Chinese International Import Expo and a regular Russian-Chinese heads of government meeting was certainly this year’s landmark event. First, it preceded yet another Russian-Chinese summit to be held soon on the sidelines of G20 in Buenos Aires. Second, as opposed to previous years, it took place at a turning point in world history, as the US radically overhauls its policy.
